Our Fees

Often you can save much more than our fee when we prepare your tax return. We're familiar with tax breaks and credits available and, we'll advise you of the best way to file your tax return to maximize all the credits and tax incentives for which you qualify.

We can assist you with refund loans, bonus checks, and you can pay balance due returns with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover cards.

Individual tax preparation and consulting rates (at the time the returns are prepared) are based on a per-form fee schedule which is available upon request.

We ask for a $500 retainer before we begin work on a large job for a new client or if it involves IRS non-filers or collection work. The retainer will be applied against the hourly fees while work is in progress. Additional funds may be requested when those funds are exhausted, while any unused balance will be refunded.

Other fees may include long distance calls on behalf of the tax return, extra copies of returns, travel and/or postage.

Consulting is billed at $150.00 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Bookkeeping in our office is $85.00 per hour. Often, a monthly rate can be negotiated for ongoing jobs after three months at hourly rates.
